I am Nathaniel A. Johnson, the writer and producer of Bell Ringer. My passion for writing stems from the need to tell stories, and to share the wonderous worlds that live in my imagination.

My inspiration stemmed from my love for small rodents, and often, my mind would imagine what their lives were like. Some of the inspirations that started this project came from writers like Brian Jacques, and his absolutely wonderful books. Others, like The Secret of Nimh and The Great Mouse Detective were movies I loved as a young one, were also a large influence.

A great interview from Mr. Brian Jacques in particular really emphasized the need to describe the scenes in such a way that bring imagination to life, even to those who couldn’t see. I really want to follow in the footsteps he laid, and bring joy to young ones, and parents alike.
